Go within, that’s where the calm is…meditate ? Ok, so for most of us, when we first start to sit still and ‘go within’ instead of calm, we encounter a stream of thoughts which can make us feel stressed, angry, anxious, you name it, we’ve all felt it.
So last night this cool Buddhist monk – Gen Kelsang Rigpa – shared the observation of how we refer to being stressed out vs in. I loved that and thought it really captures the essence of why it’s worth it to ride out the initial inner storms, and dive deep where the waters ARE calm…always. We just need to have some foundational understanding and tools, and with a clear understanding of WHY we do what we do, we WILL get a taste of profound inner calm and peace…anchored in the space of the heart. It may be for a fleeting moment, but once you experience it, it will be enough to have given you a taste of the power you hold within. Not somebody or something giving a feeling of calmness, you’re simply tapping into the true, unobscured essence of you ? Deep relaxation + meditation for success…it works.
Have a great day and remember breaaaathe deeply and leeeeet go, relax…
