Happy Friday, happy every day!

One of the things that keeps so much turmoil in the world and the inner space of the mind, is this idea that we are separate. We all live in an inextricable state of interconnection and interdependence. The sun, the trees, water, earth, air, animals, insects, humans, you name it, we are all one piece of the whole.

Maybe you had a coffee this morning, think about EVERYTHING that was involved in making it possible for you to have that morning cup. The growing of the crops, the insects, water, SUN, the transportation, how was the transportation built, who and how created all the pieces that are assembled for the transportation…if you take a dive deep, whether on the nature side of things, or the mechanistic side of things, you will find the systems that are all working together are mind-boggling. Reaaally dive deep and ponder how our bodies, with no effort on our part, turns that liquid into whatever benefits our system and discards the rest. Food we consume becomes muscle, bone etc…I means how amazing is that?!

So, next time you think this is “mine”, pause and ponder and be in wonder and awe and gratitude of how everything can work together to create love, joy, safety, caring and community. Sense of separation leads to isolation, competitive greed and de-humanization, just to mention a couple of side effects. Open your mind and heart when it feels safe to…and you may just find it slowly happens more and more…the blossoming of the realization of oneness ?
